Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 13, 2026

10Secs ("the app") is built to record and edit short films on your device. This policy explains what the app accesses and, just as importantly, what it doesn't collect.

In short: we do not collect or store any user data. There is no login or account system, and everything you record and edit stays local to your device. This reflects the current, pre-launch version of the app. See Changes to this policy below for what happens if that changes.

Camera & microphone

10Secs requests access to your camera and microphone so you can record short films directly in the app. Video and audio are captured and processed on your device and are not transmitted to us or to any third-party server.

Photo library

If you choose to save or export a film, 10Secs writes it to your device's photo library. The app does not read or upload existing photos or videos without your action.

What we don't collect

Analytics & crash reports

The app may use Apple's standard, anonymized crash and performance diagnostics to help us fix bugs. This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify you personally.

Children's privacy

10Secs does not knowingly collect information from children. The app has no account system and does not collect personal data from any user.

Changes to this policy

This policy describes 10Secs as it works today, ahead of its full launch. If a future version adds features that require collecting or storing data off your device, for example an account system or cloud sync, this page will be updated first to describe exactly what changes and why, with a revised "Last updated" date above.
